Due to a 2018 United States Supreme Court ruling (South Dakota v. Wayfair, Inc.), states are forcing online retailers to charge tax on these items.

"Seller has collected the simplified seller use tax on taxable transactions delivered into Alabama and the tax will be remitted on the customer's behalf of the Alabama Department of Revenue. Seller's program account number is SSU-R010191893."
